Description
Chen-Style Tai Chi is the original style of Tai Chi and is characterized by circular and spiraling movements that intermix slow, flowing moves with fast, explosive ones. Low, physically demanding stances accompany slow flowing or fast explosive movements.
Practicing Chen-Style Tai Chi will help students develop more energy over time as the internal mental tranquility complements the external movements of the body to become more balanced, flexible and physiologically healthier.
In this class, students will learn the foundational steps and techniques of Chen-Style Tai Chi along with the details of each form in the 24 Form.
Prerequisites
This Beginner Level class is suitable for students of all ages and skill levels. No prior Tai Chi experience is required.
