Evi Wiratma
Evi Wiratma has been a long-time dedicated student of Sifu Amin Wu’s. She has studied Chen-Style, Yang-Style, and Wu-Style Tai Chi Chuan. In addition, Evi has studied Tai Chi Broadsword, Tai Chi Sword, Tai Chi Fan, Tai Chi Stick, Tai Chi Cane and Push Hands with Sifu Wu.
Evi has assisted in teaching many of the Tai Chi classes and is now instructing classes of her own. She is a skilled Tai Chi practitioner who is respected and well-liked throughout our Tai Chi community.
Shufen Zhou
Shufen Zhou studied Martial Arts and Tai Chi from Master Zhibin Ma and earned the Sixth Duan level through the Chinese Wushu Duanwei Grading System.
Her major professional accomplishments include winning the Tai Chi championship in the Guangdong Wushu Championship and winning championships in Tai Chi, Tai Chi Sword, and Health Qigong in a variety of competitions.
With more than 20 years of experience teaching Tai Chi, Shufen was a top-rated national Health Qigong instructor in China. Since coming to the United States in 2008, she has stayed active in the Tai Chi/Qigong community sharing her passion for Tai Chi and Qigong all around the San Francisco Bay Area.
With her exceptional credentials, patient and meticulous teaching style, Shufen is very popular with her students.
Susan Kao (Peihua Hu)
Susan Kao began practicing Tai Chi over 12 years ago and quickly discovered its profound impact on her health and well-being. She has studied intensively under Master Amin Wu, whose guidance has been central to her development as both a practitioner and instructor. Susan’s dedication to daily practice and continual learning led her to earn a gold medal at the 2019 Sing Tao Daily Tai Chi competition.
For the past decade, she has led twice-weekly Tai Chi classes at the San Carlos Adult Community Center, where she also organizes and performs in the annual Lunar New Year Tai Chi demonstration. Her greatest joy is seeing how Tai Chi improves her students' strength, balance, and vitality.
