2026 International Taijiquan Day
Join us for a community Tai Chi gathering on the beach as the Open Tai Chi Foundation celebrates the inaugural UNESCO International Taijiquan Day.
Everyone is welcome! No Tai Chi experience necessary β just show up and follow along!

Schedule/Program
We will leave from the Tai Chi Studio (1395 El Camino Real, Millbrae CA 94030) at 12:00 PM. Anyone needing a ride is welcome to join us, weβll be arranging rideshares - please let us know in advance so we can coordinate rides.
Starting at 1:00 PM, weβll perform 3 different sets of Tai Chi:
Tai Chi Cane (Sifu Wu will start, others will join throughout the form)
Hao-Style Tai Chi
Bafa Wubu
These will be shortened versions of the forms that everyone can follow. Leaders will be positioned at the corners, and participants are encouraged to join the group in the middle.

We expect to conclude by 2:00 PM.
What to Bring
An Open Tai Chi t-shirt, if you have one (or any Tai Chi t-shirt, if possible)
Appropriate beach footwear (Tai Chi shoes are not recommended in the sand)
Water
A light snack
