Description
Tai Chi Sword is one of the most popular Tai Chi weapons. The two-edged straight sword (jian) is used for training upper body conditioning, strengthening the arms and wrist, and improving energy coordination throughout the whole body.
The Yang-Style Tai Chi Sword 16 Form is an beginner level Tai Chi sword form that provides an introduction to sword training. This class will give a comprehensive overview of the Yang-Style Sword 16 Form and the associated Yang-Style chuan form movements.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with a beginner-level Tai Chi Chuan form, such as the Yang-Style 24 Form.
