Yang-Style Tai Chi is the most popular and widely practiced form of Tai Chi. Its movements are larger, gentle, slow and evenly-paced. Regular practice of Yang-Style Tai Chi improves general health for the practitioner as the exercise keeps the joints flexible and the bones and muscles strong.
Yang-Style Tai Chi 24 Form (also known as the Simplified Tai Chi Form) has become one of the most popular Tai Chi forms worldwide. It's a shortened and modified version of the traditional Yang-Style Tai Chi form.
In this class, students will learn and practice foundational steps and techniques of Yang-Style Tai Chi through a step-by-step introduction to the Yang-Style Tai Chi 24 Form.
Prerequisites: This class is suitable for students of all ages and skill levels. No prior Tai Chi experience is required.
