Wu-Style Tai Chi is characterized by small circle subtle techniques mixed with some large frame circular movements that are best for improving balance and flexibility.
Tai Chi Broadsword/Dao is a one-edged weapon used for training upper body conditioning, strengthening the arms and wrist, and improving energy coordination throughout the whole body.
In this class students will learn the Wu-Style 13 Form Tai Chi Broadsword form. In addition to learning the fundamentals of using the Broadsword, students will also practice foundational steps and techniques of Wu-Style Tai Chi.
Prerequisites: This class is suitable for intermediate level students who have already learned a Wu-Style Tai Chi chuan (empty-hand) form.
