Health Qi Gong - five animals
健身氣功 - 五禽戲
Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle movement, breathing, and meditation to cultivate and regulate qi—the body's vital energy. It supports physical, mental, and spiritual well-being through balanced, mindful practice.
Five Animals Qigong (Wu Qin Xi), is a traditional Chinese qigong practice that imitates the movements of five animals: tiger, deer, bear, monkey, and bird (or crane). Each animal's movements are designed to stimulate specific parts of the body and meridians, promoting overall health and well-being.
This class helps students relax both body and mind while improving strength, balance, and flexibility. Beginners will receive a gentle introduction, while experienced students can deepen and refine their practice.
Prerequisite: This class is suitable for students of all levels and all ages.
